Hard to believe that Opening Day just around the corner. Looking forward to seeing the players finish up our Winter Workouts strong before we move practices outside in mid-March ahead of our late March Opening Weekends!
Our 12U RTB team is also making plans for its 12U annual All-Star Village Cooperstown tournament this summer (www.cooperstown.com). We will be one of 68 teams from the US and Canada competing in this six-day tournament. The event is a Ridgefield Travel Baseball tradition for our 12U team going back to our inaugural year in 2011 and marks the boys’ final youth event before heading to the Big Field as 13-year-olds.
The 12U team will be organizing various fundraising events over the next few months to help defray the cost of the trip – please “Pay It Forward” and support our team!
