Ridgefield Wins!

Ridgefield Majors Little League took home the district title.

Ridgefield District All Stars 12U defeated NLL District All-Star Team 12U 11-0 on Wednesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Brandon D struck out Ollie E to finish off the game.

Dean G led Ridgefield District All Stars 12U to victory by driving in six runs. Dean went 2-for-3 at the plate. Dean drove in runs on a wild pitch in the first, a double in the fifth, and a grand slam in the sixth.

In the first inning, Ridgefield District All Stars 12U got their offense started when CJ B doubled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

Ridgefield District All Stars 12U put up four runs in the sixth inning. Ridgefield District All Stars 12U scored its runs on a grand slam by Dean.

A single by Matthew F in the first inning was a positive for NLL District All-Star Team 12U.
